Spanish Academy Buckhead - Meet Our Douglasville Team

My name is Yenny Sissy Menedez, and I proudly hail from Cuba. Since 2023, I have been a part of The Spanish Preschool, where I take immense pride in the achievements I have made alongside this dedicated family of educators and administrators. Currently, I am pursuing further preparation with CDA accreditation. My rewarding journey in this beautiful environment with children began in February 2018 in Homestead, Miami-Dade County, Florida. There, I collaborated with a group of teachers who imparted invaluable lessons about this fulfilling career. In November 2022, I had to bid farewell as I set a new goal for my family, leading us to move to Douglasville, Georgia in December 2022. After a brief waiting period, I found my new family at The Spanish Preschool, where I was given the chance to continue working with children and enhance my skills for the future. I am currently serving as the principal teacher at the TSP-2 center, where I strive daily to provide children with opportunities to learn and enjoy. One of our center's core objectives is to deliver general learning enriched with the Spanish language. I feel incredibly happy whenever our children share new Spanish words with us, motivating me to work even harder to ensure each child has a wonderful day.

Hello, my name is Onelys Quintero, and I proudly hail from Cuba. I have an 8-year-old daughter who inspires my passion for working with children. I truly enjoy providing them with a better education. Since October 5, 2023, I have been dedicated to my role at The Spanish Preschool. In my free time, I love to indulge in my favorite food, which includes steak, rice, and beans. I also cherish walking and spending quality time with my family and friends.
